“I just bought a 2012 Ford Fiesta from a dealership back in august. I searched the website, once the issue came to surface, and it is part of a recall. The recall is the exact issue that started on my car last night. The door doesn't close at all/the latch doesn't work. I have been paying monthy payments on this car and now I need some information on how to get my car fixed.”
NHTSA complaint #11280495, filed 2019-11, 137,857 miles“I was told from a professional mechanic that my dual transmission was the main cause for the car stuttering and having a hard time accelerating after stopping and it's something they can't fix only Ford can, this problem would happen when I'm stopped at a red light stop sign and turning corners”
NHTSA complaint #11366199, filed 2020-10, 105,000 miles“When it rains the doors or windows leaks and the inside gets mold all over. I had the door latches fixed because when I tried to shut the rear passenger would not shut, opened up when I was about three blocks from my house already and I have takep it in for the transmission twice. The clutch doesn't shift when it supposed to, when at lights and stop signs.”
NHTSA complaint #11002372, filed 2017-06, 68,000 miles“The low beams have stopped working. I now cannot drive after dark and if I have an emergency with one of my three kids I will not be able to take them anywhere. High beam and parking lights work. Replaced headlight bulbs and still won't work. There was a recall in canada but not the USA. It's been months and can not afford to have the fuse box replaced. Radio has also stopped working for the past 3 weeks”
NHTSA complaint #11291897, filed 2019-12, 141,000 miles“Ford Fiesta 2012 transmition shakes everytime I go from stop to first and second gear, it vibrates and hesitates horrible, and the dealers keep saying it is normal even though I test drove a new Ford Fiesta and it does not have the same issue. I really do not know what to do now. I would not be able to sell it like this, and it can not be repaired because it is normal !”
