“I was involved in an accident on the freeway the vehicle was struck twice and careened into the center divider once before coming to rest. The airbags never deployed. I sustained a broken neck by hyper extending my neck over the steering wheel.”
NHTSA complaint #11310899, filed 2020-02, 28,000 miles“My vehicle is a 2016 Ford Fiesta st with a sunroof. I live in an area where there is not much flat land to park vehicles. My driveway is greater than a 20% grade. This complaint is related to sunroof seal leaks in any mode of operation. The sunroof seal is a single strip of rubber with a disconnected seam that is oriented at the top of the sunroof. As the rubber ages, the rubber shrinks and the seam can develop into a gap that lets water inside the sunroof drainage tray. …”
NHTSA complaint #11322212, filed 2020-04, 65,000 miles“My trunk pops open on its own. At least 3 times a day at random. Giving access into the vehicle. This happens while I'm driving and while the car is stationary. I have woken up at 4 am and my trunk be open. I've been driving at 60mph and the trunk open. Been in a drive through and the trunk open. This has been going on for months. My son seen the trunk was open and shut it repeatedly just for it to open every few minutes. This is a common issue with these and similar Ford vehicles.”
NHTSA complaint #11351230, filed 2020-08, 52,000 miles“Alarm is constantly going off which means I don't know if it's a real intruder or just the door ajar switch, recall affected up until 2015 but the issue keeps going into 2016 ford fiestas, this is a safety issue as we cannot tell if someone is breaking into the car”
