“Driving on city street and passenger's door flung open when I made a right turn. I pulled over and tried to shut & lock door, however it would not latch. After researching found a recall on latch doors of this model Ford (recall reference #15s16), however my VIN # was not on recall. Contacted Ford dealership and Ford customer service and even though this exact problem was why the recall was issued, they would not honor the recall. With research I found that my vehicle was made in the hermosillo assembly plant which is one of the plants the faulty parts came from. …”
