2017 Ford Fusion Electronic stability control Problems

“Car wouldn't start after sitting in the driveway way for 2 straight days. Had it towed to dealer and after checking the vehicle out, was told I had a severe ant problem and the ants ate the wiring in the fusecond box. Had to replace fuse box out of pocket because I told it was not under warranty. I purchased my vehicle feb 2017. Picked up my vehicle after repairs and a few miles down the road while sitting at a red light, my vehicle shut down with no warning. Numerous error lights were on, but couldn't restart the car or put into gear. …”

“I was driving through san juan capistrano california evening of jan 3rd 2018 west bound on hwy 74 having just past the overpass on I-5. I was only going about 30 MPH and the steering suddenly stopped working and my car floated over and I could not stop it or steer. It was the strangest thing I ever experienced. I felt the sensors in the car suck in. My car bounced over the curb and the right front wheel was torn off it. Suspension: death rattle. Vehicle intermittently excessively vibrates so severely, at any speed. With uneven roads, and holes, vehicles excessively rattles and jumps sideways in lane. …”

“The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V162000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic). The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the electronic stability control (ESC) and check engine warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for the recall repair, and it was determined that rodents had chewed the soy-based ESC wiring harness. The contact was informed that the ESC wiring harness and purge solenoid valve needed to be replaced. …”
