“I took my car to sheehy Ford of marlow heights for the airbag recall repair. Upon picking the car up after it was fixed , there are now 3 lights on my dash that were not previously there. These lights are the airbag light, the stability control light, and the service wrench. The dealership will not cooperate as far as fixing this.”
NHTSA complaint #11306917, filed 2020-02, 167,000 miles“I was just leaving a gas station when I heard beeping. I looked down and saw my power steering asst failure light was on and my service advance track light. I lost all power steering. I have looked up and seen you guys have covered the 2011 to 2012 but not the 2010 even though they are experiencing the same issue”
NHTSA complaint #11169851, filed 2019-01, 84,500 miles“My 2010 Ford Fusion has come up with a power steering assist fault and service advancetrac messages on the dash board. This causes the steering in the vehicle to be stiff and very dificult to make a turn on the road. I managed to make it home driving at a reduced speed and by avoiding making turns when possible to prevent an accident.”
NHTSA complaint #10948536, filed 2017-01, 113,250 miles“After starting the car, I get message power steering assist fault . After moving just a few feet, the traction light comes on and I get message service advancetrac . The dealership tells me the electric rack needs to be replaced and the part alone is over $1600. From my understanding, the 2011 and 2012 models have been recalled, and the 2010 models have the same part number for the recalled rack.”
NHTSA complaint #11195890, filed 2019-04, 65,207 miles“Service power steering light came on as I was driving home. The next morning I turned on the car and it said service power steering now. Have seen that I am one of the many people having this issue. Should be recalled and fixed not just the 2011 which is just one year newer.”
