“My power steering when out in a curve. No warning at all!! I had my mother and my 2 year old daughter in the car at the time. I slid off the road and messed up my car and hurt me and my mother. My daughter thank god was not hurt thanks to her car seat. Ford told me this was my problem! Why is this car not recalled for this problem?”
NHTSA complaint #11300175, filed 2020-01, 223,000 miles“The drivers side and passenger side door handles are broken. To exit the vehicle you have to pull the lock and door handle at the same time. On passenger door side now I am unable to unlock the door from the outside. This same problem is occurring on my wife's Ford Fusion 2011. This can be a very dangerous situation if you have to exit the vehicle in an emergency.”

I have had a system test done several times and nothing can be found . I looked on line I see that over 100 people with the same car and year having the same issues and this is very costly and as a consumer and this needs be recalled .”

This happens as the car is in motion usually on the highway but has happened on city streets as well. This happens a couple of times a week.”
NHTSA complaint #10883825, filed 2016-07, 82,000 miles“The driver's side door will not open from the inside. I can only open it by rolling the window down and grabbing the handle on the outside. This is a safety issue. I have discussed with Ford and they are not concerned about it/will not fix it free of charge. I see online where a lot of people have had this issue with the Ford Fusion, plus other Ford cars. This needs to be recalled before an accident occurs.”
