“My 2013 Fusion has a door latch that is broken. According to recall 15s16 this should be covered under a recall but, according to Ford, this is not a covered VIN, yet my vehicle was built in the same factory as the stated recall (hermosillo in 2013), therefore, should be covered. My vehicle is currently not safe to drive because of this issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11244405, filed 2019-08, 82,000 miles“I live mostly in florida when the temperature was 87 degrees my sun roof was open later in the day I closed the sun roof it was cracked I wasn't in the car when it cracked. I have an extended warranty but they refused the claim. I understand this is happening to a lot of vehicles. Ford denied the claim.the vehicle wasn't moving and in a parkig lot.”

I cannot see through it so it blocks visibility to my right unless I use a hand to hold it up. This happened while driving the west virginia turnpike (although I doubt that had anything to do with the malfunction) and swung it down to keep sun out of my eyes. Never stayed up since.”

And also while I was on my way to work. So I called only to find out that this was part of a national recall. Now I thought I only had a recall on my seatbelts and airbag. Now had they kept their word on march 28th this could have been resolved. Help....”
NHTSA complaint #11097174, filed 2018-05, 74,400 miles“Takata recall my car caught fire and burned. The fire started while driving but I was unaware. I just kept smelling popcorn smell. I then got to my destination , parked the car 5 min. Later the fire department came in and asked if any was driving a white Ford Fusion. It's was bbot quit 2 years old and had less then 50 k miles.”
