“First time was yesterday morning. Husband was pulling out of a parking spot and car stalled. He didn't mention it, thinking it was just a fluke. Yesterday evening I went to the store and when pulling out of parking spot car started missing as if it were not getting fuel and then stalled. When I told husband about it, he explained that the same thing happened to him earlier in the day. Very scary feeling. Luckily both times were at slow speeds.”

NHTSA complaint #10660895, filed 2014-11, 17,690 miles

“I was driving the car and it stopped running. My husband and I were returning from an appointment at the heart doctor and he had to push the car off to the side of the road. It was towed to the dealer where they kept it for two days. Three days after I got it back it did the same thing when I was by myself. Took back to the dealer where they kept it for four days and said it was fixed. I had it back for another two days and it happened again. The dealer has it now and I have no faith that it will be fixed right. …”

NHTSA complaint #10551168, filed 2013-11, 8,321 miles

“Vehicle stalled out after taking a turn after a stop sign. Speed was around 10-15mph. Rolled to side of road. Check engine light illuminated. Vehicle struggled to re-start after several attempts. When it did start it would immediately stall after placing the shifter into drive. Had vehicle towed to dealer.”

NHTSA complaint #10644494, filed 2014-10, 7,272 miles

“Friends and I rented a 2013 Ford Fusion from hertz while on a trip last weekend. The computer display that controls the AC and other functions shut down midway through the trip. The car ran well enough to drive, so we continued driving it for the remainder of the trip. I was seated behind the driver. I noticed a slight headache earlier in the trip after being in the car. After the AC/heat functions shut down, I got a major headache plus nausea. The other back seat passenger also got a headache, thought less severe. …”

NHTSA complaint #10684203, filed 2015-02

“The contact owns a 2013 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving 35-50 MPH, the vehicle began overheating. Additionally, the coolant temperature warning light and the check engine warning light were illuminated. The contact was able to veer to the side of the road. The contact then added coolant in the vehicle. The contact was able to continue driving; however, the failure reoccurred while driving. …”
