“Driving on the highway at least at 65 MPH, the car in front of me hit his brakes and went in to a complete stop. I did not have time to stop, I hit the car, none of the air bags deployed. The driver side door could not open because the frame of the car shifted. Right after impact a gush of liquid started pouring out. It was taken to the shop to get fixed but after a couple of days the car was deemed a total loss.”

“Since purchasing the car in january of 2017 I have not been able to connect my smartphone to the navigation system on the screen it will work sometimes even though I download the appropriate apps for my phone it will not connect. I have taken the car in 3 different occasions to Ford of montebello and the problem persists. The touchscreen also has flickered and turn on off numerous times while I was driving the car. …”

“My brakes are grinding squealing/rattling and i have pads replaced, no rotor wear, not sure what’s wrong. I’ve brought my car in to be serviced 3+ times and have left with no fixed car and worse brakes. When i bring up issues with my car that are related to the recalls the car has, they tell me those recalls don’t apply to my car although im having the same problems. My brakes have progressively gotten worse/louder and the pressure on my pedals is not the same. I’m scared to drive my car and i have been trying to get it fixed for months. …”

“I purchased this car on 8/31/16 and on 11/28/16 the dreaded dead battery problems started. I took in it, they replaced the battery on 11/28 said that it was probably just a faulty battery from the manufacture and that it happens, rarely but it happens. On 12/31/17 I went to start my car and it again would not start. Each time that this has happened, I have to manually unlock my car by taking off a piece of the door handle to expose the key hole and the dome lights or dash lights do not come on, that's my dead giveaway that it wont start. …”

“I had to take my vehicle to the nearest Ford dealership yesterday because I was getting an error message on my dash stating shift system fault - service soon. I was not able to put my car in reverse or neutral and when trying to do so, the park brake was automatically applied. I was able to drive it to the dealership and was told the the shifter cable bushing had came a part which will cost over $315 to be fixed. I read online that Ford recalled over 500,000 fusions (2013-2016) and escapes for the same exact reason. Will Ford be issuing another recall on the newer model cars? …”
