“Ford recall notice issued in september 2007 pertaining to the speed control system. I have tried several times to get the local dealer to service my vehicle according to the recall notice . NHTSA complaint #10211311, filed 2007-12, 40,000 miles

“Have received two recall notices from Ford motor co. To have the speed control deactivation switch (scds) replaced. The cruise control on my Motor Home was disconnected in response to the first recall notice. As of this date they still claim no replacement parts are available. I am traveling across country. If they are producing this part on a daily basis, why can't the local dealer (courtesy Ford - sanford, fl near where I am currently parked) receive one to install before my next leg of the trip?? It has been over one month since it was disconnected by this dealership.”
