NHTSA complaint #10467262, filed 2012-07“The contact owns a 2005 Ford Mustang. While driving 39 MPH, an oncoming vehicle crashed into the drivers side of the contacts vehicle. The seat belt did not engage and the air bags did not deploy. The contact suffered a concussion. The vehicle was destroyed. The contact called the dealer who stated that they would give his information to the council and provide him with a response. The vehicle had not been repaired when the complaint was filed. The VIN was unavailable. The current and failure mileages were approximately 49,000.”
