“My 2011 Mustang when driving at around 40mph the traction control light come on and the front end starts to wobble it don't happen all the time. I took it to have it check and was told the rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The don't have but 56000 miles. I did some research and found out Ford recall several vehicles with this same problem. From what I found out that it might be a heat over the electric gearbox”

“2011 Ford Mustang 3.7l v6 convertible, premium, automatic transmission throttle body failure (part # at4z-9e926-b) while driving, the car suddenly decelerates, the dashboard 'wrench light' comes on, the front end of the car rumbles and shakes, and the car will not accelerate, forcing me to pull off the road. This happens at moderate speed on local roads and at highway speed. If I pull off the road, turn the car off, wait a few minutes, and then restart, it usually runs normally. On one occasion, it did not. …”

“My advanced trac light was on-dashboard. I took it into dean sellers Ford (2600 w maple rd, troy, mich 48084) and was told that I needed to replace the epas because it failed. This car has only 25,400 miles on it and the cost was $1047.00 plus labor of $505.50. Total cost $1549,00 plus I had to pay $60,00 for a rental car. A car with this many miles on it, should not need to have this kind of repair (epas component) replaced. …”

“I was driving at approximately 35 MPH when the vehicle started vibrating with traction control lights coming on. Pulled into a parking lot turned off car and ran fine afterwards. I have had to pull over on several occasions due to the same problem. Then I had my 10 year old in the car on the highway.. I was just getting off the on ramp onto the highway at approximately 60- 65 MPH and the car started vibrating with traction control light blinking on dash . It was scary .
