“Automatic breaking engaged too sensitively, the driver infront of me had stopped a few yards away and I was already starting to stop when the vehicle suddenly stopped. The driver behind me almost rear ended me. This was at a green light.”
NHTSA complaint #11675438, filed 2025-07“*While driving at a normal, non-excessive speed, another vehicle began pulling out of a neighborhood ahead of me. I attempted to slow down, but the vehicle did not respond to braking as expected — it continued moving despite my attempt to stop. When I tried to turn the steering wheel to avoid the situation, the wheel felt stuck/resistant and did not respond normally. As a result, I began sliding and lost control, crossing into the oncoming lane of traffic. I was able to regain enough control of the steering to pull back into my own lane. …”
NHTSA complaint #11764864, filed 2026-09“The contact owns a 2024 Ford Mustang. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at 25 MPH and entering a roundabout, a vehicle suddenly entered the roundabout and was rear-ended. The brake pedal was depressed however there was not enough distance to avoid the collision. The forward collision warning (FCW) system did not engage. No air bags deployed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic but was not diagnosed or repaired. No injuries were sustained. A police report was filed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 6,100.”
NHTSA complaint #11622983, filed 2024-10, 6,100 miles“Hit a adult male black bear broadside on a street with no lighting. The forward collision warning never engaged, seatbelt did not lock, only the knee airbag deployed, and emergency braking never engaged.”

There is accessive condenced water all over inside front and back window. started driving and used the wiper to clean the windshield and found out water is on the inside made the visability hard. Another issue with the Camera Visibility issue is daily in cold weather where the glass in front of the camera gets foggy and there is no way to clean as it foggs up inside the winshield and camera housing makes the auto break system not working . …”
