“I need to get a waiver from the national safety administration to have Ford disable my passenger side airbag until such time that they repair it. No passenger can ride in this truck without risking serious injury. I should be able to use my truck and carry passengers safely.there is no real date given by Ford as to when the repair is to be completed.”

NHTSA complaint #11063223, filed 2018-01, 165,000 miles

“Takata recalli tried to talk to Ford they brushed me off telling me too bad. They said don't drive it and they just not doing anything for me. I don't want the truck if they have no plans on getting it fixed, that was their comment. I can't sell it to anyone like that, I an wife have plans on driving across the states this summer. What is left for me to do??”

NHTSA complaint #11075985, filed 2018-03, 44,000 miles

“Takata recall - received a notice from Ford that remedy parts for airbag inflator replacement will be delayed until spring of 2018. In the meantime, do not allow anyone to sit in the first row passenger seat. Big problem for us as this is our only vehicle and we must have a two-seater vehicle every day. Dealership refuses to provide a loaner or rental.”

NHTSA complaint #11056790, filed 2017-12, 135,000 miles

“Takata recall I sold my vehicle and filed the proper release of liability forms with the state of california. Despite repeated requests to Ford and to the dealership I continue to get recall notices. Ford seems not to care enough to send the recall notice to the new owner who may be injured.”

NHTSA complaint #11230830, filed 2019-07, 125,000 miles

“Takata recall, it has been almost 2 years since we got the recall notice. I have called the Ford dealership several times to check on parts. They say they can't get parts. My personal opinion, takata should have to replace the vehicle if can't fix it. This is dangerous, my son rarely drives his truck.”
