“The contact owns a 2007 Ford Ranger. The vehicle shifts roughly into the reverse gear. The vehicle was taken to the dealership, and the transmission was recalibrated. The current and failure mileages were 46800.”

A seven year old entered the vehicle and placed the key into the ignition; however, he was unable to shift out of gear or place his foot on the brake pedal. The vehicle rolled backwards on top of a three year old child. The child's legs were broken and his skull was fractured. The contact attempted to stop the vehicle and sustained injuries to her shoulders and arms in the process. The henderson police department filed report number 09-12668. The manufacturer stated that it was impossible for the vehicle to roll backwards on its own. …”
