2013: “Me and my sister both own 2013 tauruses, mine a intercepter, hers a self, by 100000 both toe links were cracked and joints broke, replaced links on both cars. Plus my fuel module was under recall and not hers, but hers failed and mine did not. She had to pay out of pocket for her module, and mine was fixed under recall.”
NHTSA complaint #11221091, filed 2019-06, 100,000 miles2014: “My car's power steering suddenly developed a fault, showing message on dash stop safely now along with a simultaneous message about servicing advancetrac. Steering became very difficult. Steering still worked, but car became very hard to turn (I am not a small man, and it was still difficult). I was able to pull to the side of the road (I was on a large city street traveling about 45 MPH) and stop with some difficulty. Power steering seems to have completely failed spontaneously.”
