“Day after purchasing gv70, upon starting vehicle, the brake pedal went all the way down to the floor. After taking foot off brake and reapplying foot pressure, the pedal responded accurately and I started the car. This occurred a second time and upon the 3rd time, I contacted the dealership. The third incident occurred with 4300 miles on it. First incident under 500 and second under 750”

The contact stated that while driving 14 MPH, the brakes independently engaged, causing the contact’s head to hit the driver’s side door/window area, sustaining an injury to the head. The contact lost consciousness for a brief moment. No warning light was illuminated however, the contact mentioned the vehicle engaged Emergency Mode. Neither the dealer nor an independent mechanic was contacted. There was no medical attention required. The vehicle was not yet taken to a dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed. …”
