2026 Genesis GV70 Other or unknown Problems

“Without any warning, on March 15, 2026, I turned out of a parking lot onto a major road and I noticed it wouldn't accelerate above 20 mph, so I pulled off the road. I tried again and my vehicle still failed to accelerate. And on my third attempt, my vehicle decelerated and was about to completely stall. I managed to turn into a parking lot and avoid getting rear ended. However, this could have been a fatal event. While I was trying to accelerate, the vehicle was quiet as if the car wasn't even running. After shutting the engine off for awhile, I was able to drive the vehicle with caution. …”

“while driving on the highway my brand new gv 70 lost all acceleration to the gas pedal with no warning lights of any kind. i was able to roll down into an exit and stop the car. i turned it completely off and restarted and it drove normal again. the next business day Genesis picked up the car with a tow truck and on the same da they picked it up, Monday Oct 5, 2026, they told me they couldnt find anything and they would return it to me after a test drive. of course my safety was at risk - there was my sudden dead car driving on a highway - i do not wish to wait to see if this happens again. …”
