“Rear passenger seatbelt which bolts to floor frame came off, would not protect an occupant in event of a crash. Also center rear seat adjuster broke in pieces which did not hold the css in place which in event of a crash. Css would not be properly installed. Please provide further information.”
NHTSA complaint #871861, filed 2000-09“Vehicle was cut off by another vehicle. Had to apply brakes (ABS) quickly, which failed to work. Vehicle then dove into concrete cover. Upon impact, the dual air bags failed to deploy. The seat belt jerked hard on driver, causing bruises. Gmc file number 99-153-17801.”
