I almost got stuck and I was horrified at the sound. Later on I started noticing it was harder to control thw vehicle at higher speeds on the road. Especially after it rained I would leave my yard and would almost be trapped in my yard. Very eerie grinding sound with 3 malfunction lights on: ABS, traction control, and brake lamp illuminated.”
NHTSA complaint #11173671, filed 2019-02, 152,000 miles“Without warning my automatic transmission completely failed getting off the freeway today. When I went to make a right hand turn at the end of the ramp, the car wouldn't shift any higher than 2nd gear, couldn't increase speed to avoid oncoming cars, had no power. I was able to pull to the curb to avoid being hit. Transmission needs to be replaced.”
NHTSA complaint #10330167, filed 2010-05, 66,900 miles“My 05 Honda Accord v6 auto transmission gave up on me only at 65000 miles. Honda does not want to pay for it because the warranty has expired and they quoted me over $4400 to replace it with a new one but the only has 65k miles on it. I'll never buy another Honda for this reason.”
