“Well I bought the car from a friend and it seemed to run fine. One day I was just driving in the city and all of a sudden the transmission started slipping. So by the time I made it home the car would no longer go into any gear except reverse. And now I am stuck without a car because I can't afford the 3000 dollars to fix it!!!”

The wheels were straddled on both sides of the ditch. No injuries were reported. The police were not notified. The vehicle was destroyed. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000.
