“2020 Accord 2.0t sport 10,600 miles I was traveling across the state with periods of light and heavy rain. About halfway into my ~280 mile trip I stopped for a red light. When accelerating from the light, my car lost power and the accelerator did not work. I coasted to the side of the road and noticed the check engine light blinking, with no other warning messages. I shut the car off and restarted to find no engine light or warning. I was in the middle of nowhere late in the evening so I continued to the destination. …”

NHTSA complaint #11577042, filed 2024-03

“I was driving on the freeway at freeway speed with my Mom and daughter in the car and all of a sudden the car decelerated suddenly to almost a stop, sending us all flying forward. I felt like we had to have hit something, but we didn't; it just felt that way because of the sudden, abrupt stop while going freeway speed. Our bodies are sore this morning as a result. Thankfully, no one was directly behind me at the time, and we didn't get rear-ended. This could have definitely caused fatalities. If I were to have been killed, no one would have known it was a vehicle malfunction. …”
