NHTSA complaint #11396456, filed 2021-02, 12,000 miles

“I've noticed a very annoying humming sound while driving my 2020 Honda Accord sport 1.5t. It will stop when approaching a stop or when opening the front windows. I did some research and lots of 2018-2020 Honda owner's are experiencing the same problem and mentioned it could be the anc system.”

NHTSA complaint #11378638, filed 2020-12, 650 miles

“I leased my vehicle a year ago, I had electrical issues with my old car so I wanted a brand new car that was reliable and safe for me and my children. In the first months the car was fine but after about 4 months the car would smoke from the exhaust pipes randomly. I took it for maintenance as the car system directed but the repair shop never said there was anything wrong with the exhaust system. A month or so past and one day I got in the car and all the lights on the dash board were in. I was so freaked out because it was a new car and no warning lights should of been on. …”

NHTSA complaint #11406198, filed 2021-04, 17,000 miles

“My car shut off on the road. I tried to accelerate but all my lights on the dashboard came on. I wasn’t able to accelerate more than 20mph. I was about to make it back home. Today I tried to take it out on a test drive, it’s drivable but I was not able to accelerate. Every time I pressed the gas, my car would stall. This is the 4th time it happened.”

NHTSA complaint #11712673, filed 2026-01

“I was reversing my 2020 Honda accord and the power steering light came on. The power steering and steering wheel was hard. The steering then locked up. I couldn’t move the car. This could have been dangerous of another vehicle was coming. After shifting it back to drive, it went away. Now I am concerned the car may do this problem on the road.”
