“My car just got 22,000 miles but has problems with the starter. I joined a forum of people who own same type of my car. There are many people has same problems with mine. Some lucky people got the problem when the car has 80,000 miles. Some unlucky people got the problem with the low miles on the car as me. I think Honda need to have a recall for starter problem of Honda Accord 13 model.”

NHTSA complaint #11343725, filed 2020-08, 21,000 miles

“2 items- was there an air bag recall? & starter push button malfunction, it doesn't start at times when pushed, it's getting worst, I'm up to over five trys and now it feels like I'd be stuck at any location. It started about two months ago. Someone on youtube claimed that there was a recall on the 2013 Accord push button starter.”

NHTSA complaint #11109654, filed 2018-07, 50,000 miles

“I have been having trouble with starting up my Honda Accord. I thought it was the battery so I got that replaced but am still having issues. I press the start button and the power turns on but does not start the engine. It does this multiple times. Sometimes it will start the engine but lately, it has turned more into a gamble on when it will actually start the engine.”

NHTSA complaint #11058411, filed 2018-01, 61,000 miles

“In the few years I've had my car, which I take very good care of and have low mileage on, the power steering stopped working suddenly while I was driving (very scary and dangerous!), the driver's side sun visor broke one day when I was trying to put it back up, and the dashboard sensors go off unnecessarily. Very disappointing from a Honda vehicle. Beware!”

NHTSA complaint #11051550, filed 2017-11, 15,000 miles

“I've own my car for for 1 and 1/2 years and it's dead for the 4th time I had the battery replaced a month after buying the car and am still having problems with it I don't know if it is the starter? It was parked at work for 4 hours then I moved parking spots and shut it off turned back on 10 minutes later to close windows and it's dead.”
