“All the warning comes on the dashboard randomly. I took it to the service, they said they reset the system. However, today, my daughter was driving to her school. Again, all the warning lights came on and the car braked itself. This is a very dangerous as my daughter is a new driver. I made another appointment with the service department. Please do something,”
NHTSA complaint #11611070, filed 2024-08“Purchased my car in July new. In August I got a CBMS warning for emergency brake system failure. Took it in and they said the front camera failed and needed to be replaced. It’s been on backorder since August 23. Because of this all the safety features including lane assist had to be turned off because the steering wheel would randomly jerk even when I was within the lane lines. …”
NHTSA complaint #11555579, filed 2023-11“Tail lights cracked on their own during summer possibly due to high heat index. Adaptive cruise control system has given me an error/failure to start up several times when starting my vehicle.”
NHTSA complaint #11548292, filed 2023-10“I was driving in 55 mph zone in heavy rain and car slowed down to less than 25 mph and would not accelerate over 25 mph when I pressed the gas. Dashboard lit up amber and stated “collision mitigation braking system problem..see your dealer” and lane departure problem. Car eventually accelerated but automatically decreased speed again and I was unable to accelerate after pressing gas. This happened at least 6 separate times in a 7 mile drive home. This could have easily caused an accident because visibility was low due to heavy rain and it was nighttime.”
NHTSA complaint #11521297, filed 2023-05“Loss of power and control of vehicle after getting several malfunction errors on instrument panel. Vehicle estates that several safety controls are switched off until problem is resolved. Eventually vehicle resets itself and works fine for weeks.”
