Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid. The contact stated that the trunk was not designed with a safety barrier at the entry, causing a propane tank to roll out of the vehicle upon opening the trunk. The propane tank hit the ground, bounced and hit the contact's chin. The contact sustained temporary pain. The dealer was notified of the issue and informed the contact that it was a factory design flaw. The dealer advised the contact to purchase a trunk storage net to resolve the issue. The manufacturer was not contacted. The issue was not resolved.”
