“Not a complaint. Information only. My 1999 Honda crv is a great car with only minimal normal repairs. During a panic stop in a 45 MPH speed zone I broke a brake line going to the right front wheel and was within millimeters of creaming the car in front of me. When I finally got the car to a mechanic it was found that the line had been rubbing on the frame and became weakened and had broken under the extra pressure. Warning: have your mechanic check your brake lines to insure they are not rubbing on something that will weaken them and cause them to fail when you really, really need them. …”

My question is, has there been any tire failure due to low air pressure on Honda crvs. What is the correct tire pressure for a Honda crv? Why does Honda recommend such a low tire pressure? Is there a roll-over hazzard in the Honda crv is tire pressure is 30 PSI?? Thank you, ron( DOT number: tire size: 205/70r15 )”
