“Rear tires wearing out inside prematurely due to wheel alignment got off, install all new tires and did wheel alignment and found out that camber adjustment required to fix the issues but repair shop and even Honda dealer can’t adjust camber settings since camber is not adjustable in 2019 Honda passport. Honda dealership told me to go somewhere else and have them install aftermarket camber adjustable kit? Totally unacceptable. If can’t fix this problem then my tires will wear out prematurely again. Honda should recall this and have it replace with adjustable camber.”

NHTSA complaint #11540355, filed 2023-08

“The contact owns a 2019 Honda Passport. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer to be repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V365000 (Structure, Suspension). After retrieving the vehicle, while driving 60 MPH, there was an abnormal sound coming from the vehicle. While depressing the brake pedal the contact heard a sliding sound coming from the rear end of the vehicle. The dealer stated that the sound might be coming from the heat shield. The mechanic determined that the screws were loose and the rear assembly might detach. …”

NHTSA complaint #11769061, filed 2026-10, 91,169 miles

“What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The rear subframe, specifically the passenger-side rear suspension mounting bracket, is failing due to severe, premature corrosion. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? My safety was put at extreme risk because a local authorized Honda dealership fraudulently closed out an active, critical safety recall (NHTSA Campaign Number 26V-365) without actually performing the mandated repair. …”
