“I bought a new 2025 Honda Ridgeline truck from Hendrick Honda, Easley, SC and within the first 24 hours the instrument display showed an “auto idle stop error” and to get service at the dealer. I took it back to the dealer within two days, and they said they ran diagnostics and couldn’t find nothing wrong. The service advisor said “it will probably just go away as you drive it more.” Well, after a couple thousand miles now, it has not gone away but sporadically reappears while driving. …”

“Truck has been leaking water inside evertime it rains. They say its something that was not welded at the honda plant it fills the floor boards up when it rains or i wash my car. It is become a serious safety problem due to the wetness in the vehicle and the gas and brake petals. I have tried gwt it fixed the dearship keeps saying waiting on honda rep or waiting on the body shop 6 months this is taking. The vehicle is outta commission due to anytime it rains as i am scared I will wreck it and kill someone.”

“I want to bring to your attention what I consider a safety concern with the 2025 Honda Ridgeline Black Editition that I just purchased and an important feature that does not function properly. My concern is the the Auto High Beam Headlight feature. This is one of the features for which I choice to purchase this particular pickup truck. The issue/problem is as follows. NHTSA complaint #11633502, filed 2025-01

“I was driving in a stop and go traffic due to a traffic accident ahead of me. One of the times I stopped it seemed like it stalled but it was still on and the dashboard told me to put it in park so I did and then I was unable to do anything with the truck the brake seized I couldn’t shut off the truck or change gears and I sat like that for 5-8 minutes. Then after that I was finally able to hit the brake and restart it then I brought it to Saratoga Honda and they didn’t have an appointment until Wednesday of the following week due to me needing a loaner vehicle.”
