“While driving my Genesis 2010 sedan, the battery light illuminated, then the power steering did not respond. I was about 1/2 miles from my house and I had to wrestle with my steering wheel until I got home. The scary part was that I unexpectedly lost power steering during a turn at the traffic light. Luckily, no on coming traffic was near as I completed the turn on the opposite slide of the street. I fortunately arrive home, parked the vehicle and had it towed to the mechanics. I learned that the alternator went out and so did the battery. …”

Was repaired twice and failed a total of three times. Dealer has replaced module which was reputed to correct problem, and has conferred with Hyundai, but it recurs in three to four weeks. There was no incident to report to police nor was there damage.”
