“My daughter was pulling onto the freeway from an exit and heard a loud snap. She realized that something seemed to have broken under her right tire. She managed to drive to the next exit and up to where she works. When she got out of her car, she and a friend looked underneath the car and realized that the axle was cracked and coming apart. She was able to drive home that next morning from work but noticed that it sounded like something was grinding or dragging. When she took it to Hyundai the next day, they claimed that she hit something. …”

The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times for the failure. The technician diagnosed that the front rotors bended and caused the front suspension to fracture. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 7,200.”
