2015 Hyundai Sonata Electronic stability control Problems

“Bsd system dose not work as it should be , I took it to the dealer and they clear the code and preform calibration now there is not error code but dose not preform as it should be , dose not detect any car in blind spot , it is to risky to say I do relay on this system but dosenot detect the cars”

“To note vehicle had a complete evaluation 1 week prior with no current or upcoming issues. Upon starting car ABS light, traction light, bsd (blind side detection) light came on. Upon driving, my bsd sensors did not operate, and engine made whistling sound upon acceleration and would not go over 40mph without the power being pulled from the engine. Also to note my car was apparently trying to be in a higher gear at 30mph (5th gear). All of this is very suspicious as the car has only been serviced at dealerships with most recent being 1 week prior. …”

“While driving down the highway the warning light for the bsd sysiem started blinking on and off. The next morning it stayed on. I took it to the dealer and after two hours the service man came in and told me they couldn't find the problem but they thought it would be behind the rear bumper. They wanted me to pay $150 to remove the rear bumper to check it. He said if it was a problem there I would most likely have to pay for the repair as it was likely my fault. I refused to do so as I felt it should be covered by the waranty. I no longer have a functional blind side detecter. …”

“I was driving at 6:20 am on the new jersey turnpike. I was in the left lane and going approximately 70 MPH using the scc (smart cruise control). All of the sudden, the lights start flashing and the car completely turns off. Since it was before sunrise, everything was black and I couldn't even see where I was driving, not to mention that the steering wheel became locked. 10 seconds later, the care came back to life . It did that same intro with the system check thing as it does when the car is started from a park position- only I was on the highway going 70 MPH. …”
