Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“I first noticed an issue with the voice resignation which also is effecting the messages navigation phone and just recently the lane assist and radar. For 2 weeks I have tried to address this with Hyundai customer service with no proper response the dealer service I stating the computer head is at fault but they have no idea when they will get one from Hyundai. I know the service people will be keeping the car for week to resolve this since the whole dashboard will be removed. …”

NHTSA complaint #11530231, filed 2023-07

“I purchased the car new and three times since then, the latest last week, the automatic brakes kicked in briefly for no apparent reason. I feel that if a vehicle would have been directly behind me this could very well have caused an accident. Each time it happened it was during daylight and fair weather although I can't remember if the sun was shinning. After the second time it happened I reported it to the dealer and they said they had no recalls on it and no explanation but if it happened again I should record all circumstances to investigate the cause. …”

NHTSA complaint #11724526, filed 2026-03

“I was driving down the street and I hit a car because I felt that I lost the control of the car momentarily and it happened as it is described on this recall - 22V746000: The vehicle's fail-safe limited-mobility drive mode may be impaired, when prompted by a transmission oil pump malfunction, which can result in a complete loss of drive power. As a result the car crashed into another vehicle. Have the car since 24th of March. Have been feeling at times that I fight to be the driver with the car. Spoke to friends about the issue and they were concerned about that too.”

NHTSA complaint #11517823, filed 2023-04

“The BlueLink subscription service for my Hyundai Sonata includes a feature to see the diagnostic codes my car has or has had. Attached is a document with all of the DTCs my car has reported since I purchased it new in November of 2021. There are 15 stored codes (not active) but they are still concerning to me because they have appeared from before the car was built to about 1000 miles after I purchased it. 5 codes are for the Lane Keep Assist System, 1 for the Electronic Stability Control, 5 for Smart Cruise Control, and 4 for the Tire Pressure Monitoring System. …”

NHTSA complaint #11494350, filed 2022-11

“When backing up the vehicle we break when no objects are present. When stopped at a light, the vehicle will detect that cars are too close or will sense objects are around when nothing is around. The collision warning will sound at random times.”
