“I made a complaint against this same problem but now it is on the opposite side. The brake rear passenger side has burned. The dealership blocked em from making an appointment to repair the defect. I will try again. This is the second burning of the brake light system.”

NHTSA complaint #11252945, filed 2019-09, 23,000 miles

“I received a recall notice that states I must park outside due to a fire hazard. I call to schedule the repair and I am informed the parts are on back order and they have no idea when they are going to get them.”

NHTSA complaint #11403081, filed 2021-03, 71,459 miles

“Recall letter hasn't being received. Does apply to my model. Friends have the same car and received a car. By checking VIN number vehicle has been assembled on the same line as my Tucson.”

NHTSA complaint #11416507, filed 2021-05, 49,126 miles

“I have been getting recall notices for my 2017 Tucson since december 2020 for the anti-lock brake system (ABS) but am unable to get it fixed. According to calls I made in december, january, february and march, the parts were not available. It's recall number 20v-543 Hyundai recall number 195. I finally got an appointment with Hyundai in broken arrow ok for march16th as they reported parts had just come in. Took my Hyundai in at appointed time, was told they are out of parts and willlcall when they can make repairs. …”

NHTSA complaint #11403357, filed 2021-03, 23,000 miles

“Nhtsa #20v543000 recall number 195 still has no remedy for this year model. The dealer I just bought my vehicle from has 13/14 certified pre owned with open recalls of this nature. I purchased and then was told I could not take it until the recall was fixed. Understandable and appreciated. The next day nobody would answer my texts or messages. Upon researching I see why. Obviously I do not want to drive my child around in a 'new' vehicle that might catch fire. Why do you allow them to continue to sell them? Why isn't there a remedy after 2.5 years?!?”
