NHTSA complaint #11757284, filed 2026-08“Had an issue with driver assist radar when in complete control. Until you’re not! Brakes lock up skidding tires and causing seat belts to lock up. It happens so suddenly it scares you to the point of heart attack. This has happened: merely backing out of driveway, when accelerating in your lane with car in turn lane beside you turning right. And most recently on FL Turnpike while in stopped/slowed traffic due to emergency vehicles trying to get to scene of Naples wildfire. When I accelerated as traffic resumed at slow speed the car locks up brakes, squalling tires and slewing sideways. …”
