“I have a 2007 Infiniti m35x and I would like to report that this car has a serious tramlining problem. The car will suddenly veer into the next lane. This can has the potential to be be very dangerous and based on many forums many users are experiencing the samething. Please help and make Infiniti fix the problem before someone dies.”
NHTSA complaint #10298937, filed 2010-01, 18,000 miles“This car has an undrivable issue of tramlining. It is so hard to steer when there are grooves or road imperfections...unlike any other vehicle I have ever driven. An Infiniti mechanic told me the problem is a defect in design of the steering rack. I can change the struts/shocks and put new tires and that will not help...I have been told. Please fix this problem so I can safely drive my car. It is so jittery to steer, I will not let my wife drive it.”

When I change lanes, as the car moves to the center of the lane that I am coming from there is a very distinct pull on the steering wheel and feel as though the car is coming out of a rut. As the car completes the maneuver to the adjacent lane it literally swerves abruptly into the rut in the new lane, which again pulls the steering wheel and is very distinct. …”
