“During the town driving car lost complete power. All the light on dash board including mil light came on. As a result I had to get emergency repairs costing $ 600. I also took car to dealership where to reprogram throttle position sensor cost me over $120.00. Two weeks later I get notice from infinity that this a known issue and they will come up with solution for this problem. To this date I have not heard anything for either reimbursement or a fix..”

NHTSA complaint #10562681, filed 2014-02, 70,000 miles

“My pedal stopped working, then it cut completely off while I was driving on a major hwy doing 60mph. I just received a recall notice in the email yesterday 11.12.2013, NHTSA recall 13v-430, now, I spoke with a rep stating I will receive another notice. This action has already happened to me and I have replaced it out of my own pocket. I do not see why I should have to wait on a second notice. Clearly in the recall letter it states, if the mil is illuminated, contact your Infiniti retailer immediately and it will make arrangements for an immediate repair. Do not continue using your vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #10552039, filed 2013-11, 66,000 miles

“While traveling 65 MPH on an interstate my car slowed to approximately 20mph and iwould not accelerate. The slip indicator/voc and check engine light came on and all I was able to do was make it to the exit with my hazard lights on. I thought maybe the battery or alternator was the cause. I tested both and both were good. I was been trying to track down the problem and had been at a loss until I started to investigate discovering that several 07 infinity models have been having the similar issue as mine.”

NHTSA complaint #11452937, filed 2022-02

“The contact owns a 2007 Infiniti M35. The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 MPH, the vehicle stalled without warning. The vehicle was able to be restarted. The contact had not taken the vehicle to the dealer for inspection or the failure or repairs. The contact referenced NHTSA campaign id number: 13v430000 (vehicle speed control) but did not confirm if the vehicle was included in the recall. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 100,004.”
