Example complaints

Engine: “Vehicle was stopped at the red light. This vehicle has a stop-start system. When I put my foot off the brake, I showed system failure and did not start the engine. I brought this to inifitni dealer, there was the same recall on different VIN. They could not do anything about this safety concern.”

NHTSA complaint #11093336, filed 2018-05, 33,000 miles

Electrical system: “Something happened to cause power loss. I checked the recalls and work that was supposed to be performed but didn’t get done like it was supposed to. I need to have it checked now asap! I see 2 engine replacements and also the turbos and 2 of the catalytic converters. The last 2 need replacing as well or it’s not going to be right.”

NHTSA complaint #11743844, filed 2026-06

Steering: “I have complained to Infiniti several times throughout the 6 months I've had the vehicle. I noticed after a few weeks of leasing the car that when I steer almost to a 90 degree angle whether it be out of a right or left turn the car loses acceleration. This happens on a daily basis, not every time I turn, but more times than none it loses considerable acceleration which has almost caused a wreck. To me this is a major safety issue. I've never experienced this in an other vehicle I've driven. …”
