NHTSA complaint #11432394, filed 2021-09“On Jan 11, 2023 my infiniti qx60 hybrid AWD that I purchased with Premium and Technology packages that includes forward Collison warning (FCW) and intelligent braking system (IBS) failed to work. I got no warning and/or my emergency brake was applied by these systems that I paid high dollars for. I had to apply the hard braking myself to try stop my car from collision but it was too late and ended up rear ending someone in multi car chain accident. I am extremely concern that the Infiniti QX60 FCW and IBS are just sales gimmick and does not work all or not at the right time when you need them. …”
