Example complaints

Transmission and drivetrain: “The transmission started shuttering in the 20-25 MPH range on 8/16/19. I took it in for service the next day and they replaced the transmission control valve on 8/23. The shuttering returned on 9/1 and now occurs between 20 to 60 MPH. This issue occurs during highway or street driving. Vehicle has 31k plus miles”

NHTSA complaint #11252858, filed 2019-09, 31,000 miles

Engine: “This problematic Infiniti QX60 had failed once again while I was on the highway. It's just dead and the engine refused to start. I had to call the tow truck to drop off at the kings Infiniti auto shop for repair. First, it was a huge inconvenience that they couldn't take a look at the vehicle until a week later. Second, no one ever offered me a loaner car to take home and has still denied this request. We depend on this for work and school. Third, just today I was informed by the Infiniti technician that I would be responsible for the repair fees of $13,000 due to engine failure! Seriously?! …”

NHTSA complaint #11416338, filed 2021-05, 32,000 miles

Brakes: “Electrical systems failed (including ABS sensors). Breaks would not function (could not depress breaks). Wife and 6 yo son in car were lucky to not have been killed as car rolled onto busy road. Told by dealer that ABS system malfunctioned”

NHTSA complaint #11252884, filed 2019-09, 14,000 miles

Electrical system: “While driving, the vehicle often brakes and accelerates without my control. I've reported this issue before. My brakes are fine, according to the vehicle status.”
