Electrical system: “This vehicle has been to the dealership five times for the car alarm will randomly go off. This issue is hard to replicate. In the final time that I took it to the dealer, I had a rental car and what we found is that when the car is parked and it’s locked and you pull in next to it. The car alarm will go off the car was never touched. It just goes off. does it go off in that situation every single time no. So it’s at the point where if the alarm goes off, it doesn’t mean anything to me. There is no concern. …”

We have brought it into the dealership and they could not replicate it the first time and now they are working with Infiniti to troubleshoot.”

NHTSA complaint #11605261, filed 2024-07

Transmission and drivetrain: “I was moving down a small slope behind other vehicles at a speed of 40-50 mph. In order to slow down a bit, I decided to manually downshift gear, I pressed the left switch and expected that after changing gear the speed it would begin to decline. But instead of slowing down, I felt a push in my back and for a second the car began to accelerate and only then began to slow down. I had to urgently apply the brakes so as not to crash into the car in front. I tried again to shift down and each time before changing the gear the car accelerated, although I did not press the accelerator pedal. …”
