Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“My vehicle was in motion on a city street traveling 40 miles per hour and I collided head on with another vehicle without braking. The airbags did not deploy and because of that I sustained serious injuries; sever concussion, 3 broken vertabrae, and torn ligaments and tendons in my right ankle (driving foot). If the airbags had deployed I would not have suffered the injuries I did, this is a brand new car/model and I believe there is a defect in the frontal airbag sensor component.”
