“While driving, the engine suddenly shut off without warning. The first incident occurred in May 2025 and stalled twice in late August 2025. Each time I lost motive power and steering/brake assist dropped, I coasted to a safe spot, turned the ignition off and back on, and the vehicle restarted. In May, a shop retrieved P0087 – fuel rail/system pressure too low. They could not reproduce the problem, added DEF, and cleared the code. The issue has recurred. No crash or injuries. The Check Engine light was on in May; no other warnings were noted at the time of the stall. …”
NHTSA complaint #11683093, filed 2025-08“The contact owns a 2018 Jaguar F-Pace. The contact received a recall notification for NHTSA campaign number: 18v090000 (fuel system, gasoline) and stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time to repair the vehicle. The dealer (land rover jacksonville, 11211 atlantic boulevard #1, jacksonville, florida 32225) confirmed that the parts were not available to perform the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.”
