“I was driving on the pa turnpike approximately 65 MPH, when I stepped on the gas and the car would not accelerate. My car was basically coasting as cars and tractor trailers were flying by me at 70+ MPH. I managed to get off the road safely, and all the lights on my dashboard were going crazy. Had the car towed to the dealership and they told me it's the throttle body - regulates the flow of fuel to the engine - electrical failure.”

“Fuel emissions system. Repeated check engine light warning indications have been seen in this vehicle over the past year. Repeated trips to the dealership for service resulted in components being replaced erroneously. Most recent replacement required entire replacement of fuel tank and hoses due to excessive corrosion and deformation of the tank. The vehicle has approximately 65,000 miles of operation. …”

NHTSA complaint #11015955, filed 2017-08, 65,000 miles

“The contact owns a 2013 Jeep Compass. The contact stated after receiving notification of NHTSA campaign I.d. 13v120000 (fuel system, gasoline), the contact called the dealer to schedule an appointment. The dealer stated that they did not have the part needed to perform the recall repair. The contact called the dealer again, months later and was advised that although they did have the part available, they did not have the accompanying tool needed to perform the repair. The contact did call the manufacturer. The contact had not experienced a failure. Updated 10/17/13”
