Example complaints

Electrical system: “Jan 2025, both main and auxiliary battery completely dead August 2025, both main and auxiliary battery completely dead December 2025, WHILE driving vehicle goes into neutral almost causing me with my children to get into an accident. This is no secret that Stellantis is aware of this issue and does not seem to care enough about the safety of the consumer, yet prefers to avoid a bad mark against their poorly designed faulty vehicles to be in the public.”

NHTSA complaint #11705052, filed 2025-12

Forward collision avoidance: “This car slams the breaks to a stop in the middle of an intersection while turning left with other cars across the intersection also turning left. It thinks we will hit but we are not going to. This has happened twice. Luckily, the driver behind us was paying attention both times and also slammed their brakes, avoiding a collision.”

NHTSA complaint #11740935, filed 2026-05

Engine: “While driving 45mph along a straight, open highway my vehicle suddenly shifted itself to park and stopped itself abruptly. I was then unable to shift the car out of park or move the brake or gas pedal or turn off the vehicle. This lasted for approximately 15 minutes and the car would not let me open the doors. All the dashboard lights were illuminated and my driver display screen stated if I took my foot off the brake the car would reverse. Eventually after 15 minutes of trying to shift and turn off the car it did shut off.”

NHTSA complaint #11759858, filed 2026-08

Brakes: “My car shutdown from automatic braking and would not move, crank or engage into neutral. I was driving, turning at an intersection with the flow of traffic. Cars on both sides of me and behind me. It shut down as we were driving with no warning and would not start or move. My steering wheel locked. I had my childr j in the car and we were stranded in the middle of a crowded highly trafficked road and its nowhere to go and no way of moving out of the way.”
