“I have only 36,000 miles on my 2015 Jeep Patriot. On a trip from pennsylvania to georgia, halfway there, the etc light and the ESC came on. I had to pull over every 45 to 50 miles to reset it. I had to take it to a mechanic. This will cost over $500. The mechanic said this should not happen with only 36,000 miles. Why, with many complaints, would this not be a recall?”
NHTSA complaint #11268748, filed 2019-10, 36,100 miles“I was driving the car and it started to come to a stop while driving. The etc light came on then went out. I shut the car off and restarted then it went for 2 miles and stopped yet again in moving traffic. This is dangerous and no one seems to know why it's doing this. Jeep needs t find out what is causing the issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11034576, filed 2017-10, 46,000 miles“Vehicle was in motion on a residential street doing about 25 MPH and all the sudden my engine shut off. My traction control light came on.
