“Driving on the interstate at highway speed the red lightning bolt warning light came on, as did the check engine and traction control lights and the accelerator cut out. I was able to coast across 3 lanes to the side of the road, but this has happened three times and apparently my 2016 Patriot wasn't included in the recall that addressed this issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11322617, filed 2020-04, 62,000 miles“When I'm driving and let off the gas to coast, go around curves, or uphill;, my Jeep seems to cutout, skip, or putter as I accelerate again. It seems like it is going to die. I took it to the dealership and they told me nothing is wrong with it. It is only getting worse. And of course I was 3,000 miles over my warranty when it stated happening.”

Part and labor was $500. My granddaughter is in college and we purchased vehicle as it was supposedly dependable transportation. She was able to pull into a parking lot before the vehicle lost power.”
NHTSA complaint #11329823, filed 2020-06, 43,000 miles“While driving home from work on the interstate yesterday at about 60mph, my Jeep suddenly loss power and started shaking. It wouldn't accelerate at all. I had to quickly put my flashers on as to not cause an accident while I tried to pull into the emergency shoulder.
