“I was driving around 30 MPH on a local side street and the car shut off with no warning lights illuminated on the dashboard. The dashboard went black and the car stopped running. I had to pull the car over, put it in park, turn the key to the off position. I waited a few seconds and started the car again and drove it home (~1 mile from home). I had it towed to the dealership as I did not feel it was safe to drive it there.”

NHTSA complaint #11110474, filed 2018-07, 39,400 miles

“My vehicle started running hot after driving down the highway and kept cutting off out of the blue. Then I checked all the coolant and radiator to see if fluid was leaking no sign of a crack. Then took it to o'reillys auto parts because check engine lighr shows codes p0087, defected transmission fluid temperature sensor, defected PCM/TCM. Poor connector and the fuel rail pressure sensor. After having it towed to Kia they open it up and said I needed a new engine and my head gasket was cracked. And”

NHTSA complaint #11376778, filed 2020-11, 108,000 miles

“I noticed a greenish liquid leaking on 12/4/20 after I had put the car in park. Not sure what it is but I do see there is a recall but not on my car specificlly”

NHTSA complaint #11378188, filed 2020-12, 77,000 miles

“I brought my 2016 Kia Sorento in the dealer for check engine light (code p0172). After the evaluated it, they said the fuel pump and fuel lines need to be replaced because it's leaking fuel into the engine and the engine needs an oil change because the oil is diluted with fuel. They said the fuel pump and fuel line is covered under the warranty but the oil change isn't. This fuel system issue is every similar to the recalls that were reported on january 17, 2019 but my car didn't fall under the recall. Could this be part of the recall?”

NHTSA complaint #11324002, filed 2020-05, 68,000 miles

“I can't accelerate my 2016 Kia Sorento. Slow down in the highway. Had to tow home. My vehicle have 72k miles. Others 2016 have recall for that, no mine.”

NHTSA complaint #11286348, filed 2019-12, 72,000 miles
