“While driving water began leaking through the top portion of the headliner right in front of the drivers field of vision. A run through a car wash clearly displayed where the leak is coming from. What started as drips is now worse and deteriorating. We have to pull the car into the garage when it's raining because it's undrivable. This car was purchased less than 5 months ago from a huge jaguar/landrover dealership. .”

NHTSA complaint #11280454, filed 2019-11, 13,700 miles

“See Bulletin N221: Windshield Water Leaks. This is a known Land Rover issue. Water will leak from the windshield as the seal is faulty. I have already had my windshield replaced once and I am experienced the same issue after a couple of years. Land Rover is not covering the full replacement of the windshield or addressing the problem at hand with the way the windshield is sealed.”

NHTSA complaint #11516898, filed 2023-04

“The windshield is leaking onto the steering and electrical panel. When we took the vehicle to Land Rover, they told us that the car was out of warranty (4 months ago) and that it would cost us $1,900. We've only had this car for 3 years and have also had to replace the motor and transmission.”

NHTSA complaint #11406005, filed 2021-04

“I am submitting this complaint regarding a potential safety defect involving windshield water intrusion on my 2017 Range Rover Evoque. My vehicle is experiencing water entering the passenger and driver's compartment through the windshield/sealing area. This is not ordinary cosmetic wear or damage to the windshield. The concern is that the windshield is not properly preventing water from entering the vehicle. There's also malfunctioning with the display screen which seems to be a direct result of water leakage. …”

NHTSA complaint #11766170, filed 2026-09

“About a month or so ago, it was raining and I got into my car to drive home from work. I only live about 1.5 miles down the road from my residence and this is the distance I drive (to and from) most days unless I have errands. I noticed I felt a drop of water on the top of my pant leg (mid thigh) but just thought it was where I was getting in the car and scraped against something. As we have had more rain the last couple of weeks, gradually I have noticed drops of water running (interior) down the windshield. …”
