“I was driving out of whataburger on 8-2-16 and all of a sudden my brakes just went all the way down to the floor board and I stopped right before I was in traffic. My tire pressure light stays on, I have had them checked several times & the back of the truck jumps to the side if I hit a bump. All of this scares the heck out of me and I have only had this vehicle 5 months. Also the truck would start and cut off so I took it to a shop 4 times and they so called fixed it. I was told I had oil leaking into my valves. It is starting better but still some hesitation at times.”

NHTSA complaint #10894762, filed 2016-08, 83,000 miles

“The contact owns a 2009 Land Rover Range Rover Sport. While driving 65 MPH, the suspension low warning light illuminated and the vehicle stalled. In addition, the contact stated that the brake pedal was depressed and traveled to the floorboard. The brake warning light continuously illuminated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 132,000.”

NHTSA complaint #10763076, filed 2015-09, 132,000 miles

“There are KNOWN areas around the A pillar, windshield, and sunroof that leak and allow water to enter the vehicle and pool up in the wiring channels next to the doors, the water causes shorts and corrosion in the wiring which causes faults (Check engine, etc) that the owner is forced to attempt to correct on their own. There are numerous videos made by Land Rover owners over the last 15 years showing the common areas where water enters the vehicle. The average owner is not mechanical inclined and will not pull apart their vehicle to search for places where water is entering. …”
